Answer:
I'm including 2 breeds I already have/had as there are no others I truly want to own really..
Although there are many, many breeds I love I can only ever see myself owning the following:
- Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (I'll always have them)
- Belgian Shepherd (Groenendael and/or Tervuren)
- Hungarian Mudi (I *love* these, I met one at the place where my dogs go for classes, started talking to the owner about the breed and quickly fell in love. They're beautiful dogs.)
- Rottweiler
Maybe another Dalmatian someday aswell, but I'm not sure. It's hard to find a well bred Dal with a stable temperament these days it seems.

2.) A cavalier!

I can't believe I forgot! Port. Water Dogs and Border Terriers should definitely be on that list!
Realistically speaking though, I'm not sure if I'll own something as large as a Gordon Setter again. And because I plan to do quite a bit of rescuing, I probably won't find too many Harriers or English Foxhounds, nor Tibetan Spaniels and American Eskimo dogs in my area.

Come to Bloomsburg, PA!!
We have so many hounds (everything from English Foxhounds to Whippets)!
We had a purebred English Foxhound come in with her litter of pups because she "just couldn't stop getting pregnant", well go figure! And we did have a gorgeous whippet, she got an awesome home. Right now we have an English Cocker Spaniel. We are over run w/ coonhounds and beagles all the time.
We also have a purebred American Eskimo, he is 11 y.o. blind and deaf. He was found with his dead owner, who had been there for over a week and Eskimo John had stayed by his side the whole time, he is such a sweetheart.
Kind of off topic...

I love many other breeds, some that come to mind are;
Greyhound, this one I hope to be able to share my home with some day
Doberman, had one before, he was a sweety.
Shih Tzus, love their personality
Chihuahua, I've seen more and more lately that are properly bred and I must say they do tug at my heartstrings.
Brussels Griffon, come on, with that cute face how can anyone resist.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, great personality.
I know there's more but can't think of them at the moment.
Answer:
I really will have to say and breed that's large.. fuzzy ...loving...kind... not hyper...obedient.... loves to go in car...patient.....Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Answer:
I love karelian bear dogs. Their fearlessness, bravery, and loyalty. Plus the challenge of training a more independent breed. I will probably not have one for a very long time since I am moving to Tucson. Not the best environment for a northern longhaired breed.
I also love borzois, but won't get any until I'm retired and have time and moeny to devote to "hobby dogs". My conscience would probably make me adopt a few greyhounds in addition to getting borzois anyway. Akitas used to scare me, but my brother has a marvelous longhaired akita named Ranger. He has an exceptionaly sweet and mellow temperment. A very good dog all around, so I guess you could say I'm an akita convert. :p
Answer:
