Question:
My dog recently passed away in september and we got 2 new dogs. A puppy lab/terroir and an older ( 5 yrs ) akita, The Puppy is now almost a year and loves to play. The Akita is less active but still likes to play around. Recently She has started to go to the cellar and stay there. She rarley comes up to go out side. We are thinking its because she wants to get away from the puppy who likes to bite on her to get her to play. But Iv also noticed she doesnt really eat as much and go out side wich she used to love to stay outside. So im wondering is there something else that is causing her to hide?and what can we do about it?
Answer:
get her to the vet asap to make s re there is not a medical problem. Start speneding more time with her alone, witho t the other dog.
