There is really no age limit. You want to make sure the puppy doesn't have any open wounds. You also want to be sure to use a dog safe shampoo, I prefer oatmeal with a moisturizer...get it from a pet store. As long as you are very carefull...I would use a sink instead of a bath tub, have the water warm but not hot...the earlier the better. He will be less likely to be afraid of water, unless you aren't careful and you scare/hurt him.
